A Special Quote Book from my Grandma

A Special Quote Book from my Grandma

I received a special Quote book from my Grandma at my college graduation. I was kinda sad that all I got was a book. Other friends of mine got cars, vacations, money and much more. I wasn’t snotty about it but I had those inner feelings that I never expressed. Then a few years ago I came across this special book and read what my Grandma wrote in the front of the book.

In her handwriting she wrote:

O Lord thou gavest us everything, at the price of an effort.

LoriAnn Garner, We are so proud of you and the happiness you have brought into our lives, and the success you have made in your life. Good luck in all you attempt to do. May the Lord Bless You Always. Love, Grandma & Grandpa 3-20-84

As I write my blog I will be quoting from my Grandma’s Special Quote Book called The Treasure Chest. I will share some of the quotes that she put a check mark by. YES she even went through the entire book and put check marks by her favorite quotes or she checked the ones she wanted me to read and pay attention to. WHAT A SPECIAL gift. I just loved my Grandma so much and I feel her with me often as I read what she wanted me to know. I cherish this special Quote book. Here is one that I just opened the book up to…. Keep your fears to yourself, but share your courage with others. Robert Louis Stevenson.

….and another.

I am not a teacher but an awakener. Robert Frost

This is only the beginning of sharing my gift with you! Remember the best gifts come from the heart!!! or your cute Grandma!!

Have a beautiful day,
